Click the run button to start the calculations. SAIPH will calculate for all risk metrics provided the input information required to do so has been entered.
The time taken for the calculations is shown with a progress bar which provides an indication for the length of time required to complete the calculations. The number of hazardous events which are required to be calculated and have been calculated is also shown. See the SAIPH technical manual for details on the hazardous event generation.
Items in the model can be excluded from the run by clicking the checkbox “Include in Run?”. This feature is available for all release types, explosion types and populations.
A run can be aborted at any time during the calculations and will erase all the results in the project.
